Canadian born and raised, Johnny Devine grew up watching the stars of Stampede wrestling in Calgary, Alberta Canada. As luck would have it, an army stationing in Calgary years later would lead to Devine being trained in the world famous Hart Family Dungeon. Trained by the Hart Brothers (Bruce and Ross) as well as Bad News (Brown)Allen Coage, Devine spent 7 years working for Stampede wrestling and the indy circuits in western Canada. Devine trained in the Dungeon before leaving and joining TNA wrestling in 2004 with Team Canada. Since the implosion of Team Canada, Devine has jumped around TNA learning from the great veterans TNA has to offer. Kevin Nash in Paparazzi, Raven in Serotonin, and currently Team 3D. Devine is a student of the game and soaks up the experience, waiting for the time when he feels is right to explode.

A mixture of mat technician, high flyer and hardened brawler, Devine can adapt to any style and any opponent. His pet finishers of the Devine Intervention, tiger driver and the 5-Star Moonsault are both stunning to watch and highly effective. A former X division Champion, Devine is a dangerous and crafty individual. Keep your eyes peeled, because any time you know Johnny is on a show, you know it’s not just going to be good...but Devine!
